A propos (English version below)
C’est à mon adolescence que j’ai découvert la lutherie en me rendant dans un atelier pour faire réviser le violon de mon grand père. Le bois, les copeaux , les outils et la personnalité du luthier ont su créer un déclic en moi. J’ai ainsi pu passer du temps dans divers ateliers à commencer à observer et à manipuler des outils.
Suite à l’obtention de mon baccalauréat, j’ai rejoint l’école de la Bottega di Parma, en Italie, où j’ai commencé mon apprentissage dans la fabrication des violons, altos et violoncelles pendant deux ans au cours desquels j’ai appris les bases du métier. Et cela doublement car nous travaillions à la fois en atelier et en autonomie, ce qui m’a laissé la liberté de me faire la main en construisant de nombreux instruments!
Je découvre, parallèlement, les instruments baroques, dont la viole de gambe qui m’a conduite en Angleterre, à West Dean College, où j’ai suivi une formation qui allie autant la lutherie que les recherches historiques. J’aborde aussi l’archèterie, la sculpture, la restauration et la pratique instrumentale de la viole.
A la fin de mes études, j’ai pu rejoindre des ateliers Londoniens pour faire de la restauration d’instruments tout en gardant une grande place pour la fabrication et en allant effectuer des stages auprès de luthiers. Ce métier est fait de recherches et de découvertes sans fin !
A mon retour en France, encouragée par des amis musiciens, j’ouvre mon atelier fin 2017 au cœur de Béziers. L’atelier se consacre à la fabrication des violons, altos et violoncelles et surtout aux violes de gambe tout en gardant une place pour la maintenance et les réparations. En février 2018, l’atelier s’agrandit afin d’avoir plus de place pour vous accueillir avec les instruments!
Début 2022, l’atelier ouvre ses portes à Ganges, porte Sud des Cévennes, dans une ancienne usine de bonneterie aménagée spécialement pour accueillir l’atelier! Je continue la bas la fabrication des violes de gambe et instruments du quatuor ( violons, altos et violoncelles), je fais également de la restauration et réparations quand vos instruments ont de petits ou grands accidents, remechage d’archets et également location d’instruments pour les enfants et adultes qui souhaitent découvrir et se lancer dans la pratique musicale!

I discovered violin making as a teenager when I went to a workshop to have my grandfather’s violin serviced. The wood, the shavings, the tools and the personality of the luthier got to my heart and started a passion!Then I had the opportunity to spend time in different workshops, starting as an observer before handling the tools.
After my A levels, I joined the Bottega di Parma school, in Italy, where I began my apprenticeship in the making of violins, violas and cellos for two years during which I learnt the basics of the trade. And even more because we worked both in the workshop and on our own, which gave me the freedom to try my hand at building many instruments! At the same period, I also discovered baroque instruments, in particular the viola da gamba, which led me to join West Dean College in England, where I followed a course including instrument making and historical research as well as sculpture, restoration, bow making and also playing the viol.
At the end of my studies, I was able to join London workshops to restore instruments while keeping a large place for manufacturing and training with other luthiers. This trade is a source of endless research and discovery indeed!
When I went back to France, musician friends encouraged me to open my own workshop at the end of 2017 in the heart of Béziers. The workshop is dedicated to the making of violins, violas, cellos and mostly violas da gamba while offering also services and repairs.
After a period of improvements, at the beginning of 2022, the workshop moved and opened its doors in Ganges, north of Montpellier and gateway to the Cévennes, in a former hosiery factory specially designed to accommodate the workshop! Here I develop the making of viola da gamba and quartet instruments (violins, violas and cellos), I also do restoration and repairs when your instruments have small or major accidents, bow rehairing and also renting of instruments for children and adults who can thus discover musical practice!
